Dr. Kelsey Snavely has always loved working with children. While studying Cell & Molecular Biology at Southwest Missouri State, Dr. Snavely worked as a camp counselor and coach during the summers. After completing dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, she moved to Colorado where she completed the pediatric dental residency program at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Snavely then worked at a private practice in Littleton and a public health clinic in Commerce City. In 2009, she became a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Snavely is also an adjunct faculty member at Children’s Hospital Colorado where she helps educate future pediatric dentists.
Growing up in Kansas, Dr. Snavely often traveled to Colorado for ski vacations. She is very happy to now live in Denver and call the Highlands neighborhood her home! Dr. Snavely and her husband, Jeremy, are parents to their sons Garrett and Connor. They love to take their dog on walks around Sloans Lake. Dr. Snavely looks forward to meeting your family and helping your child have a great dental experience.
Dr. Tim Nichols was raised in Arvada and enjoys being able to practice pediatric dentistry so close to where he grew up. After studying Psychology at Boston College, Dr. Nichols returned to his home state and completed dental school at the University of Colorado. After graduating from dental school, he completed the residency program in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Since completing his residency program, Dr. Nichols worked at a private practice in Longmont and a public health clinic in Boulder. In 2009, Dr. Nichols became a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
When he isn’t trying to make a trip to the dentist fun for one of his patients, Dr. Nichols is usually hanging out with his wife, Katy (another product of Arvada), sons James, Mac, Benny and dog, Jax. They love to go to the mountains and Colorado Rockies games. Dr. Nichols truly enjoys trying to make each child’s dental experience as positive as it can be. He looks forward to meeting your family and teaching you all great habits to help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Dr. Nancy Chang was born in Taiwan but grew up in Newton, MA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in 2003, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2009. She obtained an additional year of training at a General Practice Residency program at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2010. After practicing as a general dentist in Northern Virginia for six years, Dr. Chang decided she wanted to exclusively treat kids and pursued specialty training in pediatric dentistry from the Children’s Hospital Colorado in 2017. In 2018, she became a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Chang comes from a family of dentists including her grandfather, father, brother, and sister-in law. Besides talking about teeth during family gatherings and making dentistry fun for kids, Dr.Chang is also a certified yoga instructor and tries to practice yoga as much as she brushes/flosses! She is happy to call Colorado her home, enjoys hiking, yoga, and traveling as much as she can!
